1.28oz Fine Silver 2008 Emblems of Britain Silver Proof 7 coin set box COA

This is a very attractive and historic set which sold out almost immediately at the Royal Mint. The set contains the last examples of the old coinage designs used in the UK and struck in magnificent silver Proof quality. The total silver weight of the coins is 42.93 grams, which is 1.514 ounces. The coins feature .925 Silver Proof examples of the £1 coin with the UK Arms design, the 50p, 20p, 10p, 5p, plus the 2p and 1p - seven coins in total. They are all contained Royal Mint case of issue and are housed in the original deluxe wooden case along with the certificate of authenticity and informative booklets. Everything is in excellent condition althiough there is some slight toning to the edges of the coins. Also included is the original card protective box for the wooden case which has some light wear, but otherwise a nice complete package as issued by the Royal Mint.
