This is an ungraded 1977, close AM ( AM touching at base of letters) S Proof Quarter. This quarter has an unusual (never seen by me) light golden/orange tint that covers almost the entire coin with one spot on the reverse slightly darker than the rest. This coin has not been professionally graded outside of the mint, but does maintain the exact same condition and appearance as it has from the time I've owned it. I'd say it's condition is at least a Cameo , if not higher. The color in the picture is slightly darker than the actual coin but most definitely a noticeable difference from a normal silver quarter. Price is almost firm with room for negotiations.
