Abstract painting

The aquamarine did not come out of a tube—it was mixed using Golden acrylic paints, and because I prefer to mix my own colors, I only have magenta, red, blue, green, yellow, black, white, and burnt sienna; plus a small selection of metallics. I should point out that it is EXTREMELY difficult to make aquamarine, and there’s a lot of debate on what it should look like, so not everyone can mix aquamarine using primary colors. Probably due to the color theory class that I completed as part of my major (Illustration) at Savannah College of Art and Design. Tied with a metallic gold, it brings out the green in the aquamarine yet still retains the blue and shows the beauty of the mixed color.
