This instrument is composed of "u"-shaped bracket, armature, magnet, collector ring, electric brush, base, rocker and upper cover.
  • The upper cover plate has a pair of terminal posts and is connected with the corresponding brush holder, which can be used for installing circuit boards and external power supplies. One end of the brush is installed on the brush holder, and the other end is in with the copper of the collector ring, and can move up and down along the brush holder to adjust the position.
  • Requirements for power supply: When demonstrating the principle of DC motor, connect to DC power supply (dry battery or student power supply), and the voltage is 4V to 6V. The armature can rotate flexibly and speed up with the increase of voltage.
