Antique Friedlander & Son Jeweler’s silver and pearl flower bouquet brooch. This family owned business began in Seattle, WA in 1886 and closed 30 years ago. Being a Seattle native, I remembered this store very well. This particular brooch may be made out pewter, but or could be Sterling. I just ran out of my acid testing supplies for Sterling, so I cannot test it at this time. is a bouquet of flowers with mauve and silvery pearls. One of the pearls has a chip, but can easily be replaced or covered with a bit of pearl paint. Has a simple bar hook clasp. This is a pretty old piece, so not having a hallmark is not surprising.
