Apple eMate 300

Apple laptop circa 1997. Its almost 30 years old and it still wants to work! My understanding is that these had a fatal flaw that being the ribbon for the display chafed on the left side hinge. But with some sanding and soldering and being reinforced with a washer Im told they can be brought back to life! If you're skilled in these areas (I'm not) and looking for a project this may be a good one. I did remove the battery when troubleshooting as it was fairly coroded but I can include the battery and a charger with it if you like. Other than what Ive just mention is really all the knowledge I have of these machines. No idea what they can do. I assume there is someone out there who collects things like this, and I'm sure it would make an excellent edition.
