Avocado Seedling

This fellow grew from 1 of the smaller Hass type. While I can't guarantee that the fruit produced by this tree in 5-12 years will be as good as what it came from, it will still be a beautiful tree in your yard. What I mean is that every Avocado seed has its own idea of what an Avocado should be. Some are good, some nasty, and some are just strange. Most farms that develop new varieties will plant 10,000 seeds with the hope of producing something worth eating. Then, they clone that tree through either grafting to rootstock, which produces roots in a ball of soil wrapped around the branch.
