A Campeon velcro 16 oz boxing glove is a traditional Mexican-style glove, hand-made in Mexico with genuine cowhide leather and natural latex padding. It is known for its durability, excellent knuckle protection, and a fit that becomes more comfortable over time. The 16 oz gloves are a common weight for sparring and heavy bag work.
Design and construction
Material: Campeon gloves are handcrafted in Mexico from high-quality genuine cowhide leather. Some versions use specialized foam combinations, such as the Chegui model, which incorporates polyurethane and latex (PULAT) padding.
Padding: The padding is traditionally made from natural latex, with some models featuring a multilayer foam core for superb shock absorption. The padding feels protective and allows the user to throw powerful punches without discomfort.
Closure: The velcro closure provides excellent wrist support and security during training.
Thumb: Traditional Campeon gloves may have an unattached thum
