The PT-1180 hand held labeling system uses "TZ" laminated tapes in three sizes from 0.25 to 0.5 inches wide. This affordable unit produces extremely durable, laminated adhesive backed labels for a variety of home and home office applications. It prints one font in eight styles and five type sizes up to 22 points.
The unit features an eight-character LCD for correcting errors before printing and prints either one or two lines of text. Special printing options include mirror and vertical printing and text framing options.
The PT-1180 fits in the palm of your hand, so it is easy to carry or rests easily on any flat surface. Familiar typewriter style keyboard allows easy text entry, then just press print, peel, and stick. The tape cutter blade cuts cleanly and safely. The laminated tape is resistant to UV, abrasives, spills, heat and cold. The package includes one "TZ" laminated tape and tape separator. The unit is powered by six AAA batteries, not included.
