D-Link DCM-100 Cable Modem

The DCM-100 is a two-way DOCSIS 1.0 CableLabs & @Home Certified Ethernet 10BaseT cable modem. The DCM-100 is designed to provide high-speed Internet access over the standard data over cable network. The DCM-100 incorporates a single 10Mpbs Ethernet port. The DCM-100 provides intelligent IP allocation management, which can be configured to work on a Static or DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) network. For security purposes, the DCM-100 provides 56-bit DES (Data Encryption Standard) to encrypt data transaction for both upstream and downstream transmission. The DCM-100 has a maximum downloading speed at 42.88Mbps (256 QAM) and a maximum uploading speed at 10.2Mbps (16 QAM). The DCM-100 uses the Reed-Solomon error correction method for data packet integrity. For SNMP remote management, the DCM-100 uses MIB II and MCNS MIB. It also comes with four easy to read LED indicators to show the connection status of the DCM-100 cable modem.
