Dr Seuss McElligot's Pool 1947

Here up for sale is a used hardcover Dr. Seuss book titled McElligot's Pool, copyright dated 1947 Random House, made in USA, although it may have been produced somewhat later. This was a children's library book, and is in rough condition, with wear from use, including the word 'mayor' written on the inside cover, back cover 'withdrawn' stamp mark, stains on about ten of the pages, some corner page creasing, plus some page dirt, stains, tears, and wrinkles. Covers show corner wear, white color loss on the fish head area, stains, dirt, a bar code sticker added, and heavy signs of use. Rough condition, but still might be interesting for a collector due to what seems to be an unusual cover color which I'd call a shade of dark blueish-gray.
