This casting was designed by Larry Wood in 1984 and initially released in the 1985-86 Flip Outs Carded Series under names like "Flipper Snapper" and "Road Flipper".
Evolution of Name:
Around 1990, it was released in the California Customs Series as "Firebird" with a modified metal chassis. In 1997, it was renamed "Camaro Wind," which is the name most commonly used by collectors today.
