This product is handmade by Lorena Vasquez
In Santa María Atzompa, located 15 minutes from the center of Oaxaca, is recognized for its green clay as well as its figures elaborated in the ""Pastillaje technique"" or also known as Filigrana in clay. This technique is made by molding hand figures and then placing clay threads on the piece to decorate with leaves and flowers also made of mud. For this technique two types of mud are mixed, the traditional Santa Maria Atzompa Clay and the red clay of Donají.
