Native American Painting

This beautiful painting was done by Mary Hana who is from the Spokane Indian Tribe as well as the Paiute Tribe. Mary use to come to my old store and display her many arts. On this picture she told me that it was a picture of her twin sister when she was a child. Mary uses many names on her art one being Buffalo Women and on this piece she uses her first name but I can't quite make out the last name. Most of my Native American artist use whatever pieces thy can use to paint on and if you look at the back of this painting you will see that the canvas is starting to loosen and Mary put some tape in the back but I can't find anything wrong in the front. I just want to point out anything negative to you so if you have any questions be sure to ask me.
