This melted plastic decoration, called a popcorn melt because it looks as if it were made from melted popcorn, was made in the 60-70s. They were often sold by students as school fundraisers. It is plastic, which makes it easy to ship, easy to store, and easy to hang. It effortlessly livens up any house for the holidays and brings back many memories as well as creating new ones.
