Authentic. I’m new to California and a Cowboys fan. When I was younger my mom worked for a shop that sold athletic wear and custom jerseys for professional sports teams out of Ft. Stockton Texas. She was great at her job and had a certain time and quota for the jerseys. One was the Dan Marino Jersey and the other was a Steve young Jersey. She got the jerseys out so fast that Steve Young personally signed and shipped one back to her as a thank you. You will see that the last name isn’t attached and that’s because she just brought it straight home. I believe that makes this Jersey even more of a relic. It’s from the 95/96 11-5 season.
It has sat in my closet for 25 years. She still asks about it. While I wouldn’t mind framing and hanging up I’m just not a niners fan and don’t care to take the time.
